Writer's Notes Music by Gaining Ground Words by Mike Roa If you ever wanted your mom or dad see you do something you practiced or for that special someone to notice you, then that is the basis for Divine Attention. The only difference is the thing i was writing about was God's attention. I needed to express that in the run of life, nothing was satisfying but to have His attention; just to know that He sees me and knows me. Also a big part of the song is the fact that I look for excuses for not looking to spend time with Him too, "common life becomes my plea". No excuses, no regrets but a longing for God. It's the only thing that will fill you. |
